Pho­to­graph­er but also a film dir­ector, she has produced over thirty docu­ment­ary films. Since 1980, to­gether with the an­thro­po­lo­gists Jean Paul Colleyn and Marc Augé, she has dir­ec­ted and produced a series of docu­ment­aries centered on an­im­ist prac­tices in ru­ral and urban West Africa, in Mali, Ivory Coast, Togo, Senegal, in Brazil, Venezuela, also in Germany, Belgium and France. Co-author of the two books which refer to those documentary films, she was also curator with Jean-Paul Colleyn, for the exhibition of photograph and African art. Bases in France, she exhibits her photographs international-wise, published a numerous works in collaboration with different museums.
